One of the bright touches of the Tashkent International Travel Fair 2014 exposition became the mega-painting "A thousand angels and one painting" by the artist Lekim Ibragimov.

"The picture symbolizes the epic of the Great Silk Road. Its creation was inspired by the paintings and miniature art of Afrasiab, Samarkand ", - said the artist Lekim Ibragimov.

Mega-canvas "Thousand Angels and one painting" occupies almost the whole of the all of the second exhibition hall, which shows the regions of Uzbekistan and its handicraft.

This painting, widely known throughout the world, consists of 1000 individual paintings and affects by not only its artistic value, but also by its impressive scale: height - 8 m, length - 66 m, the area of 528 square meters.

The idea of ​​an art project "1001" came to Lekim Ibragimov more than 10 years ago, and the process of creating it took 3 years. The canvas was exhibited in the Czech Republic in 2012 and in 2013 in Russia.
